Music I listened to a lot this year. A quick list of albums that I really put time into this year. Links are to Bandcamp where possible. Movies and TV Shows that I actually got to. This is a catch all for all the Movies and TV shows I consumed and liked. Movie links use Letterboxd, TV links are from Serialized. I have only counted Movies that released and TV shows that ended in 2023 and I actaully had time to watch. There are still a few that are running now that I am waiting to watch until they finish airing (The Curse, Monarch, Fargo Season 5, For All Mankind Season 4)....

The new (to me) books I read this year and really liked. These are the books I read and really liked this year. The links are all to Hardcover, a smaller book managing app that IMO is better than Goodreads. I could go into how terrible Goodreads became after the Amazon buyout but let’s just say it’s not great. So I’ve been giving Hardcover a try and I’m really liking it....

Just what the world needs, another blog. In my effort to relearn how the whole building a website thing works I’ve decided to start with a static site generator like Hugo. I can’t be bothered to manage a Worpdress site and deal with all the plugin updating, I also dislike the hosting model that places like Squarespace & Wix offer for simple static sites as they are too expensive for what I need....
